It has an efficient single-speed direct-drive TEAO (Totally Enclosed Air Over) 1/3 hp motor with three galvanized aluminum fan blades. It comes with a yoke mount bracket that allows the unit to be used freestanding for portability or mounted on a wall or column for more permanent placement. Additional kits are available separately for more mounting options.
